Wooooooooo Weee!! We had a wild time today at the tennis courts.........and the kids did AMAZING!!!! I couldn't have asked for a better group OR better weather!!!!! Aside from my insane description of directions on how to do the "Andy Roddick" pose, (see, even sounds confusing...) there were no problems besides wild hair do's that we had to slick down a little!!!!! I appreciate the assistance from several students who helped with marker boards and hair-difficulties! My usual lovely assistant, Mr. Jake Phillips, was actually IN this shoot..........so I had to depend on the kindness of strangers. THANKS GUYS!! WE'RE NOT STRANGERS ANYMORE! :-)!
This was actually my first time EVER photographing a sports team, and given the right lighting, I'm up for it again!!! I love how they all coordinated with each other....JV, let's talk later. haha.
Today was also SENIOR DAY and the last home game for the WCHS Seniors, and it was so tender. They did a senior walk, and little tear drops fell, but they are off to bigger and better places in a short 40 days!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to all of my new customers, as I will begin working on your orders ASAP, and I would especially like to thank Mrs. Julia Burch, President of the Tennis Booster's for coordinating and scheduling this photographic event! It was WONDERFUL!
In a few days I will have ALL of the GROUP proofs ready for viewing by tennis members and their parents, as you will receive the proofing password from Mrs. Julia Burch! It's not too late to order, so if you would like to order, just call me and we can get that going for you!!!
Anyway, I'm going to purchase myself a WCHS TENNIS T-SHIRT as soon as possible, I'M A FAN!!! :-)! Had fun guys!! :-)!

Jordan GIVEN it up for the Camera!
Hello Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Boy did we have CRAZY CRAZY rain Saturday night!!??...it made me wonder "weather" or not we would be able to shoot Jordan Given's senior pictures today!!! Glad we did!! I sported a fine pair holy jeans and and a t-shirt because I knew that I was about to end up on the wet ground at some point, but it wasn't too bad!! :-)!!
Jordan is a SENIOR this year, and he was so super cool to photograph.....you see, Mr. Given was named "Best Dressed" by his senior class, and I didn't doubt it for one second. He gives my lovely assistant Jake Phillips a run for his money in the personality department as well!!! I bet the ladies love him!!! He made me laugh so much, and I loved when his eyes lit up at the thought of wearing a BOW tie with his grad robe, instead of a regular tie!! The boy has taste, OK. He is an avid golfer and a volunteer fire fighter, and he and his Mom, Reagan were so much fun to photograph.
I learned several golfing terms......and witnessed some wild celebratory golf gesturing upon putting the ball into the hole......and I would say all in all we had a great time!!
I would like to give a big shout out to Miss Jordi Boyette and Mr. Jake Phillips for the assistance and entertainment during the shoot. They are both "wicked awesome" (the slang they taught me)........and I would also like to give a shout out to the lovely family who pulled up on the golf cart poking fun with Jordan....CALL ME!

PROM HERE WE COME!
Ok Everyone..........so I have had calls upon calls asking what my plans were for Prom, and I was scared to say because I didn't want to say one thing and then change my mind! I'm so bad about doing that.......and I almost ended up doing the shoot out at the country club, and even had two lovely families offer their yards and the Green to tempt me (the Silva's and the Burch's, I do very much appreciate that possibility)...........HOWEVER, something is pulling me in a complete opposite direction to a place I absolutely love, and a place that's more my "style". I think it is going to be FANTABULOUS and I cannot WAIT to shoot Prom! It's going to be CLASSY and neat!! Of course EVERYBODY ALWAYS looks at me crazy when I pick my locations, but all I can say is: JUST TRUST ME!!!! It's going to be beautiful, unique, and absolutely DIFFERENT!
For those SERIOUS inquiries who KNOW you want me to photograph your prom-goers, I have more information in the proofing gallery of my website! Simply call me at 912-294-4544, leave your name and a call back number to obtain the password and I will return your call! No texting please!!! I like to personally talk to possible clients!
Once you receive the password and you type it in the proofing gallery, you will find useful information, steps on how to pre-order, and view the package pricing. Those who book in advance of prom will be allowed to skip waiting lines as a VIP. Those who pay up front in cash will receive a free low-resolution digital file for Internet use in applications such as myspace/facebook/and email. Now that's a fine deal!!!

A Dancin' and A Shootin' and a Farmin'!
Some of you have had your teeth set since last Thursday...for a new shoot of course! I will have you to know that you can un-set those badboys and set-tle into a new sneak peak right now! Today I had a 1/4th of a shoot and a brand new shoot......both of which were really different!!!
First, I went to a dance studio and photographed Kristen doing her dances and stretches.........and boy is she AWESOME! Did you know that I've never even been able to do a cartwheel??? I'm so sad. Go Kristen Go!!!
Next I went out to the Boone Farm (not to be confused with Boones Farm, wink wink) to capture "easter" pictures!!! Tonya and David have a lovely crowd of children, Ivey, Jameson, and Cole.........and also family pets that I've gotten to know over the last several months (Rainbow the dog being my fav!!) and these kids have the BEST personalities EVER! They are so DARLING!!This is my second time photographing their family and I always have a great time! Tonya is an AMAZING scrapbooker.....and you should see their whole farm. I sware, it's straight out of a magazine. I love EVERYTHING about it!!!!!

Kristen Rocks The Boots!
Hey Everyone!!! Wooooooooo Weeee!!!!!!! This time it's Kristen!! SENIOR 2009!! I bet she's glad it's almost over!!! Now SHE has the graduation spirit!!! We had a wild time as usual...as she was rocking out during her shoot to all kinds of music, provided by her mother who doubled as DJ DeAnne today! THANKS FOR THE MUSIC AND THE ASSISTANCE DeAnne!!!!!! :-)! I appreciate it! ;-)!
Wild happenings during the shoot: We had a visit by Donnie Kieth who hollered "somethin' so "purty", I've got to come get another look!!..........and a "mystery fan" ....who didn't really visit, but peeped through a field with a fine pair of binoculars. Normal.......yes. I guess innocent bystanders think a movie star has snuck to Jesup, Georgia for a photoshoot behind a dirtpile when I shoot in town! I don't mind one bit. Keep em' coming!
I have been given the high honor of professionally designing her grad invites....and they are going to knock the socks off of all of her invitees!! Dont be suprised when your guests show up for graduation with no socks on, ok? Will these invitations be different than the norm? You can bet your bottom dollar!!! I'm not your granny's photographer!
Well, Kristen did great today.....she is a VERY BEAUTIFUL girl and now MODEL.....put that on your scholarship app.!! Had fun, but fun spelled backwards is "nuf".....gotta get energized for this weekend, one family shoot coming up! ;-)! -Get excited! Had fun guys!!

Two Seniors! One Weekend!!
This weekend I had the chance to photograph two very unique seniors!!! Ethan Stanfield and Anthony Teague!!! Do you think they look like models??!??! My friendly "sneak peak chasers" think so!!! I am all about a guitar and railroad track weekend!!!!
Ethan was up first.......we had a really good time. The old farm house is actually a piece of his family history and it's going to be tore down soon, so it was so unique/cool/special all at the same time. The old red truck used to be his daddy's, and that bmx bike...."wicked awesome" as Jordi Boyette says......I just loved it! And Ethan can really rock the guitar too. He had a big fan base watching his shoot......and a shoutout is in order for Ty, Terri Lynn, and Claire for help with the ladder and my crazy camera bag!! Somebody tell Claire to quit growing up, she's making me feel old. I had a great time guys.....here is something special that Ty sent me (Ethan's Mom):
"Let me just say....YOU ARE AWESOME!!!! As our kids grow older and we begin to have "seperate" busy lives of our own, we begin to miss the simple smiles, happy moments of them being nothing but themselves, no worries, no hurries, etc. You have forever captured that perfectly in your work. Thank you so much....you are amazingly gifted and I can't wait to see the rest!!!"
How special!! I sware she wrote it, NO I DIDNT CHANGE IT!!! You make me feel good! Thanks Ty!
And then I had some Sunday Fun with "Mr. T", senior Anthony Teague!!! He's a basketball player I tell ya! And boy are the ladies in love with his shots by the railroad cars!!! Natural modeling ability.......he didn't need my prods, pokes, or suggestions...he took control and laid out some great shots! Wait, has he done this before? We had a fun time...!!
I would like to thank my lovely senior assistant, Mr. Jake Raye Phillips for his ladder-holding abilities and comfortableness (is that a word??) in showing up to work with me with sand all over his entire body from playing beach volleyball in somebody's backyard minutes before. LOVED IT! Appreciate it, now go get a shower Jake!!
